Why this exists

The Operator's Notebook began as a set of private reflections - notes written between board packs, investor updates, and operational resets.

Over time, those notes became a discipline: a process of making sense of what works, what doesn't, and how leadership actually feels when you're the one accountable.

It's written by a first-time C-suite leader navigating the realities of scaling a private-equity-backed business.

The aim is simple: to turn lived experience into clear, usable intelligence - frameworks for better decisions, faster alignment, and sustained performance.
